I found some large sheets of litho paper in the building trash bin, which were printed with deep ultramarine blue on one side. Artist Ross Bleckner tossed them in the trash, his studio was a couple doors down from mine, before he moved to the 11th floor. Yesterday, I needed to painted, but did not have any stretched canvas around. I grab one of the litho sheets, tacked it to the wall and grab a tube of oil paint and started. The paint glided over the printed litho ink. I liked the effect very much. Stop and glued a found printed fashion advertisement page to the paper.
